Re-Opening Notice

We will be opening our store with a few changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  In order to be mindful of social distancing, customers with appointments will be given priority.

APPOINTMENTS

Appointments can be made by calling 250-862-9465 or emailing info@winkiwear.ca  

To allow for social distancing and minimize unnecessary contact, we will be limiting the number of customers inside the store. Young children will not be allowed unless carried by an adult.

CONTACT LENSES

Contact Lenses can be ordered easily by phone, email or on directly on winkiwear.myshopify.com - We will have them SHIPPED DIRECTLY to your home, free of charge.

We have implemented the following precautionary measures to ensure your safety:

• We request customers to refrain from visiting if they have a cough, fever or are feeling unwell, have recently returned from travel outside of Canada or have interacted with someone who issuspected or confirmed to have the virus.
• Employees will report for work only if they are feeling 100% well
• Employees will wear masks & wash their hands regularly, before and after working with each client.    
• Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of commonly used surfaces and equipment.
• Eyeglass frames are sanitized with soap and water after they are handled or tried on.
• We will be mindful of physical distancing between customers and staff.
• Contact-free measurements for eyewear, and protective shields where needed.

OFFICE HOURS

Our office hours will be:   Mon-Fri 10:30-5 and Sat by appointment only. This could change on short notice. We recommend that you call or email in advance to be sure we will be available to serve you.

EXAMS

*We will not be offering Optometry services & eye examinations until further notice, however if you have an eye emergency that arises, please call or email us and we will do our best to advise you.
